La Palmilla Boutique Resort & Gardens is the brainchild of a group of friends who shared a common vision for creating something extraordinary. Motivated by the desire to serve others and establish an unparalleled hotel experience, we embarked on a journey to build a boutique resort that would set new standards of excellence in the industry. We think of every detail – all the way down to our use of non-toxic and fragrance-free cleaning products.

Our vision materialized in March of 2022, marking the commencement of the construction process. Fueled by passion and a commitment to quality, we carefully crafted every aspect of La Palmilla to embody the essence of luxury and beauty in Glen Rose. The journey from blueprint to reality was a labor of love, and in June of 2023, La Palmilla opened its doors to the world, inviting guests to indulge in a haven of sophistication and serenity.

Chapel

Adorned with incredible Dalle de Verre stained glass throughout, Casa Del Ray is unparalleled in beauty. Classic Spanish Colonial Architecture with a 200 person indoor seating capacity. Granbury artisan, Cody Stromberg crafted Casa del Rey’s stained glass pieces in nine months. The chapel’s theme is based on Revelation 4, Jesus’ Throne Room.

Great place to relax and unwind. It is truly a beautiful setting and the rooms are luxurious. The beds and pillows are some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Everyone that worked there was so friendly and helpful. Every detail of each room and the grounds are immaculate. Renea the Gardner even gave us seeds from a hibiscus to plant in our garden. Beautiful and quiet to enjoy a getaway or recharge. Everything is lovely from the rooms, to the pool and the cantina where you can hang out & get breakfast. The chapel is a beautiful space that was created with great detail from the Bible in Revelation 4. It includes beautiful stained glass windows and custom pews.
